ADHD Waiting Room

ADHD Waiting Room

Support, structure and clear next steps while you wait for ADHD assessment, diagnosis or treatment.

Waiting for ADHD support can feel frustrating, confusing and lonely. ADHD Waiting Room is being developed by Work Wise ADHD to help adults understand themselves, prepare for assessment and build practical strategies while they wait.

Created by Lisa Hudson, ADHD Nurse Prescriber and Founder of Work Wise ADHD.

A calm place to start while you wait

This is an educational space, not a diagnostic or treatment service. It is designed to help you organise thoughts, notice patterns and feel clearer about the next step.

No shame. No dense jargon. Just practical, adult-focused ADHD support.

The gap

Waiting should not mean being left unsupported

Many adults spend months or years waiting for ADHD assessment or treatment. During that time, everyday life still continues. Work, relationships, sleep, money, emotional regulation and daily organisation can all feel harder to manage.

The aim of ADHD Waiting Room is to provide clear, structured education and practical tools during this gap.

What it will help with

Support while you wait

Short, practical sections will help you make sense of ADHD and prepare for the conversations ahead.

Support that feels human

You do not have to make sense of everything on your own

ADHD Waiting Room is being shaped for adults who want practical, kind and realistic support while they wait. The aim is to make the next conversation feel easier to prepare for.
